DELIVERi

2014 - 2015

DELIVERi was a startup founded by myself and a couple of friends. It was the first design project I ever worked on, and the reason I eventually went to study UX design. The startup involved creating a delivery platform similar to Deliveroo and Uber Eats, but extended to everything else as well. While such services exist now, the research done by us at the time suggested that we would be able to launch without any direct competition.

The platform would have consisted of a website with a feed similar to a social media platform's and mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. DELIVERi would have supported custom orders as well as catalogues supplied by various stores, a notification system, groups and lists.

The project eventually stagnated, partially because we were slow to work on it because of our lack of experience, and partially because of our programmer being busy with his day job at the same time. In retrospective, the project's eventual death was probably a good thing, because the last thing the world needs is more gig economy.
